nti-Rotation Leg (ALR) System: Gitzo's Anti-Rotation Leg (ALR) system makes it quick and easy to open and close your tripod. Simply turn all of the locking rings at once and the whole leg can be pulled out in seconds.
G-Lock Design: Gitzo's G-Lock mechanism provides extra rigidity, faster operation and stronger, safer leg locking. G-Lock's design also incorporates a gravity lock effect whereby the higher the load applied vertically to the leg, the stronger the lock.
Safe-Lock Plate: Gitzo's Safe-Lock Plate has a rubberized surface for extra grip and reduced vibration, and two locking screws for your column and for your head.
Gitzo 6X Carbon Fiber Tube: Gitzo's six-crossed multilayer carbon fiber is 30% lighter than previous generation tubes, and features exceptional stability and vibration absorption.
Performance Design: allows the legs to be set individually at 24A, 55A and 90A to cover every shooting angle.
Stabilizing Hook: A built-in, spring-loaded retractable hook on the bottom of the center column provides a place to hang a stabilizing counterweight such as camera or sand bags.
Removable Leg Tips: Removable rubber leg tips are interchangeable with Gitzo universal accessories such as the All-Terrain Foot, and Long Spikes. Gitzo feet now have also been improved with a self locking system to avoids accidental loss.
