"I bought this Hoodman HD-300 for use on my Canon HF S100 camcorder. I felt I needed it after having difficulty framing subjects on sunny days, with snow-covered landscapes. The Hoodman seems to do the job. Velcro straps make for easy on and off. It fits perfectly over the HF S100 2.7 inch viewfinder. Allowing access to the left side toggle and function button, but not the controls along the bottom of the viewfinder bezel. No big thing for me since I seldom if ever use them. I think that this Hoodman would be too small for a larger viewfinder. It also folds reasonably flat for storage."
