The all new Jobu Design PGH-1 Panoramic Gimbal Head is designed for
landscape and VR photographers seeking an affordable and well made
support solution for creating stitched images.
The PGH-1 is made of 100% CNC machined billet aluminum and all
components are black anodized for extremely long wear characteristics.
All components have scales that are permanently laser engraved in both
MM and Degrees.
The PGH-1 consists of a panning horizontal arm with 0-360 degree
markings at each 7.5 degrees. A soft rubberized control knob locks in
the position and a green bubble level assists with leveling the
platform on your tripod.
The vertical arm uses a premium wing-knob for strong lockout force
for adjusting the offset from your camera base to the center of the
panning horizontal arm. An additional soft-touch control knob with
roller bearings adjusts the vertical tilt angle in 5 degree markings.
The kit includes the SF-CP1 Surefoot Clamping plate with
0-100mm scale that allows for nodal point adjustment for standard size
lenses (from fish-eye to wide-angle to moderate telephoto), and an SF-BP1 camera mounting plate for small DSLRs and
digicams.
Dimensions: 8"H x 9"W (20.3 x 22.9 cm)
Weight: 2.3 lbs (1.043 kg)
Disassembles and clamps together for a small compact footprint when traveling.
Notes: Larger
lenses with tripod collars (such as most telephotos) do not necessarily
need the clamping plate, but should use a lens foot or a sufficiently
long lens plate to find the nodal point.
If using a larger Pro
size DSLR camera, an SF-BP2 is recommended to prevent body twist.
