Originally designed for photographers shooting in Africa, the SafariSack bean bag features a single compartment constructed of tough 500 denier DuPont Cordura Plus nylon. SafariSacks are double stitched for extra strength, and come with non-slip Toughtek fabric on the bottom.
Use your SafariSack in a variety of modes:
- Flat, to support a camera on the ground or on top of a vehicle.
- Saddlebag style, by using the two cinch straps for the "folded-in-half" position. A camera can be snugly cradled on top, when the bag is placed over a car window or used on the ground for additional elevation.
- Ballast, adding one of two sacks to your tripod increases stability when using long lenses or in windy conditions.
Available as the empty Sack, with poly fill, and with buckwheat hull fill.
Buckwheat hull fill is a lightweight (1 lb 15 oz) but stable fill that works great for packing safari or other travel.
Please see specifications tab for detailed measurements and for various weights with fill.
