"Just received my second order from Outdoor Photo Gear. Each order was well packed and arrived quickly. I plan to continue purchasing items from them and will give their name to friends."
This backpack will hold a full array of equipment, including 1 to 2 pro-size SLRs, multiple lenses, and accessories. The optional Artificial Intelligence 15 laptop case fits into the front pocket and will hold some 15.4 laptops (check your modelas dimensions). The inside lid also has clear zippered pockets for pens, pencils, notebooks, credentials, and other essentials.
For most photographers this backpack will hold a complete kit with one or two SLRs and multiple lenses and accessories. It is 6.5 deep, so it will hold pro-size SLRs and large lenses with hoods.
When a large lens like a 400 2.8 or 500 4 is put into this backpack, space is limited. This is an example of a sports photography kit, with a 400 2.8, 70-200 2.8, a wide angle, one SLR, and a 1.4 teleconverter.
The inside lid has two zippered pockets with little ports that the zipper sliders go into to protect your gear from the sliders. These pockets can be used for all of your miscellaneous items such as pens, pencils, energy bars, credentials, notebooks, and more.
Similar to our Airport Antidote, this backpack will fit in the overhead bins of small planes or under the seat in front of you. The opening of the overhead compartment on most small planes is approximately 7, although typically they drop down on the inside and become deeper, approximately 8. pens, pencils, energy bars, credentials, notebooks, and more
Our optional Artificial Intelligence 15 laptop case fits into the front stretch pocket. This is extremely handy when boarding the plane so you can pull the laptop case out immediately before putting the backpack in the overhead. Important note: The laptop case will not fit inside of a hard case with the backpack.
A common myth is that thickly padded shoulder straps are what provide comfort. Actually, the width of the shoulder strap is critical in distributing the load correctly. The harness system is light but comfortable and comes with an adjustable sternum strap.
The main compartment has locking zipper sliders, which means that you can use an accessory lock to lock the two zipper sliders together. Padlock sold separately.
The top of the backpack features a clear business card holder for bag identification, and you can store extra cards in the pocket to give to friends and clients.
Seam-sealed rain cover is included that can be secured around the bag for extra protection from the elements, which includes dust, rain, snow, etc. Because it is removable, it can also be used as a ground cover, if needed.

External Dimensions: 11" W x 7" D x 17.5" H (28 x 18 x 44.5 cm)
Weight: 2.5 lbs to 3.4 lbs (1.1 to 1.6 kg) depending on accessories used
"For the weight & overall dimensions, I don't think you can beat the 2.5 version. It's sized like a Domke shoulder bag (F-1?), but much more versatile. It would make a great dedicated "strobe sack", but it hauls the following for me: 3-sb900, 24-70, 14-24, 70-200 attached to D3s, D300s (with grip), batteries, flash & filter misc., 15" macbook pro w/external drive, and a few more essential tag-alongs. Still, it has some spare room! The inner pockets are really roomy and well made. I love the two end grabs. It could/should have a tripod/monopod attach/pocket, but otherwise, it's superb."
