The
Top Plate for TQR1 Tripod Mount Quick Release System is part of the
TQR1 Tripod Mount Quick Release System, which allows you to quickly change heads on your tripod without tedious
unthreading and rethreading.
The TQR1 has a strong tongue and grove design and is made out of high
quality anodized aluminum. The
bottom plate threads onto the top of your
tripod and has a small setscrew for extra security. The top plate
threads onto to your gimbal head or ball head and has a security
setscrew as well.
To mount, simply sliding the two plates together over the inset safety
pressure pin and lock the plates into place with the spring-loaded
positioning pin. To unmount, pull the positioning pin and push the two
plates apart. Place a new head onto your tripod in the matter of a
seconds, and you are ready to shoot!
