The Trek-Tech OptiMount Kit includes the a handy OptiMount clamp and the MagMount STAR at a reduced combo price.

Manufactured from high-strength aluminum alloy, the OptiMount is extremely strong, yet weighs less than 3 ounces and fits in your pocket when not in use.

The OptiMount can attach to monopods, tripods and other frameworks with diameters from .56" to 1.16" (14.25 to 29.5 mm).

The OptiMount has tons of uses:

Mount a second camera on your tripod
Low level shooting
Macro shooting
Attach of scopes
Attach flashes and lights

The MagMount STAR quick release system uses a powerful earth magnets and STAR (Square Tooth Anti Rotation) technology to hold equipment up to 9 lbs. The integrated rotating safety lock, secures your equipment mechanically to the ball head. The MagMount STAR comes with both the Light Force MagAdapter for lightweight point & shoot cameras, and the STAR MagAdapter for use with DSLR cameras & heavier devices.

The OptiMount Clamp is also available without the MagMount.
