Wild Nature Tours is a small photography tour company specializing in small, focused and intense Nature Photography tours and workshops.

We believe that in order to truly enjoy your time and get the most out of a photography tour and/or workshop you need to have small groups, and a very high ratio of instructors to participants.

At Wild Nature Tours we keep our groups as small as possible, usually no more than 6 to 10 total participants and customarily two instructors.

What makes our workshops unique is the opportunity that very small groups provide to be flexible in catering to the needs and interests
of the individuals.

Our focus is you and making sure you make the best images you possibly can.

Martin Bailey

A resident of Japan since 1991, with his mastery of the language and a thorough knowledge of the location, photographer and educator Martin Bailey is a natural choice to accompany to photograph the most spectacular wildlife and breathtaking natural locations that Japan has to offer.

Martin's Winter Wonderland Workshops are split into sections that you can mix and match based on your photographic preferences. Workshop sections include:

• A visit to Nagano, mainland Japan, to photograph Snow Monkeys bathing in hot spas
• A visit to Hokkaido, the north island of Japan, to photograph the majestic Red-Crowned Cranes, Steller's Sea Eagles, White-Tailed Eagles, Whooper Swans, Ezo Deer and the Northern Fox
• Remain in Hokkaido to focus on Landscape photography. The winter scenery in central Hokkaido is some of the harshest and yet
most beautiful on the planet.

Alan Murphy

Alan's workshops are designed as intensive 3 or 4 day studies of songbird photography.
Drawing from his lifelong study of birds, Alan teaches unique facts about the behavior of each subject species and useful field techniques to capture award-winning images. Each workshop consists of a small group of participants, allowing maximum personal instruction and attention. These small groups ensure great light angles and wonderful unobstructed backgrounds for all participants.

The Edge of the World Photography Workshops featuring Rob Knight, offer small class sizes and a clear focus on learning. We help you develop your camera skills to stop making snap-shots, and begin to make travel photographs you will be proud of.
