The Travis Aluminum Travel Tripod with AirHed Neo Ball Head (Black) from 3 Legged Thing is a four-section aluminum tripod with a maximum load capacity of 40 lbs at the standard 23° leg angle. Travis, which features a rapid center column for easy small adjustments, extends to a maximum height of 65" and drops as low as 4" when inverted for macro photography shots. The multi-angle legs can be flipped so Travis breaks down to 17.5” for easy travel and stowage. Travis makes itself even more useful because it offers a detachable monopod by removing a leg and screwing the tri-mount center column plate to the 3/8”-16 thread at the top.

The included Neo ball head is a simple, compact, single-lock head (one knob for control of both the pan and ball). A separate knob controls the lock for the Arca-type compatible clamp—includes a basic Arca-style plate with 1/4"-20 mounting thread.
