The Drone Launch Pad from Hoodman provides a 3 foot surface for takeoff and landing of remote controlled helicopters and multi-rotor drones. Use of the Launch Pad protects both drones and attached optics from flying debris. The Launch Pad is made of bright orange polyester, which makes landing easier due to increased visibility. The orange coloring also helps to notify others that a drone is being used in the area. The pad features a weighted perimeter to prevent movement during use. When not in use, the Launch Pad folds down just like a collapsible circular reflector disc to be stored in the included case.
